its just us birds

it’s just us birds is a collective grouping of creativity. I am Alyson Voss Paumier, an artist, designer, and maker from Chicago; this collection is mine. I have been “making” for as long as I remember. There is a far off memory I have of being around six or so, sitting in the basement, and trying to make functional paper shoes…I was not successful, but this did not deter me. As I grew older so did my need to create, I never get enough of trying out new processes. Over the years I have learned how to conceptualize my “make”, and create art.

it's a constant, continuous, spectacular world we live in, and every day you see things that just knock you out, if you pay attention.
