“We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are” - Anais Nin
Recollected Artifacts are ornamental objects depicting relatable scenes that bring to mind memories and moments in a nostalgic fashion. Memories tend to be blurry, dreamlike, and often remembered differently than what actually occurred. These Recollected Artifacts are small assemblages with applicable but generic imagery that is meant only to suggest a feeling or sense. This suggestion is meant to take root in the individual and ideally evoke personal nostalgia.
